The death of Brady's sister, Amanda, continues to haunt him, especially now after Ben's death. Why do you think his family can't seem to talk about Amanda, as if she never existed? Why do you think they did not allow Brady to attend her funeral? How do you think these things are impacting the way he deals with his current situation?

First it was Brady that couldn't go to the funeral not Ben. And I think that his family doesn't want to talk about it because it seems his father can't take that kind of pain an they will start to cry. I also think that they didn't want Brady to come to her funeral because they maybe thought he wasn't old enough so they thought h wouldn't respond well to it. And I think he couldn't really respond to his sister's death he is taking it more serousliy with Ben's death.
ReplyDeleteI think that Brady didn't go to his sister's funeral because he might have been to young to understand and take in what happened. I think that they never talk about Amanda because it is to emotional to Brady's mom. I think that Brady is feeling that he shouldn't go to Ben's funeral because he still thinks it was partly his fault. I also think that he would get bad memories about his sister and he would get mad that he didn't go to his sisters funeral.
ReplyDeleteBut given a choice, do you think Brady would have attended Amanda's funeral? He feels now as though he was cheated, and that it's another hole in his life.
ReplyDeleteI think Brady's family can't talk about Amanda because Amanda is a dead family member and normally you don't talk about dead family members. I think Brady didn't go to the funeral because his family wanted the best fir him and in this case it was to move on and not keep any memories of Amanda. I think Brady is impacted now because he never gave up thinking about Amanda and now he can't stop thinking about Ben.

ReplyDeleteI think that Bradys family cannot talk about Amanda because it was Bradys sister and they would become to sad. Also Brady didn't go to the funeral because it would hold him back and distract him.
