I think that they might have felt confused and not sure what they should make of it because the letter was talking about education and I think that they might have not been sure why he wrote other than he wanted to keep the dene education going through some of the kids.
ReplyDeleteWow -- I'm not sure I can think straight after getting past all that color! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think perhaps it allowed them to see the type of man Johnny really was and how they have a responsibility to uphold some of the Dene traditions and respect for the land. I suspect it also made them feel more grateful for having known him. I wonder if it will inspire them in any way.
I think that that is a good point mr.b because they might have not understood what type of man Johnny really was. I also think that they might have gotten a a glimpse of how precious the Dene traditions are to Johnny.
ReplyDeleteI think they are a bit confused because Johnny didn't act anything like he did in the letter
ReplyDeleteI think that they now have found out more of who Johnny was and they have uncovered some of the dene traditions.
ReplyDeleteI think Matt has a good point because I too think they are a bit confused
ReplyDeleteI think that they were a little surprized about the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteAlso i agree wit matt they do seem a little confused about what is happening now with the note and all.
ReplyDeleteI also think the boys are a little tramatised because someone close to them died
ReplyDeleteWhy does everybody agree with me? I think that the two of them might not know what to do about what it said in the letter.
ReplyDeleteGood thinking Matt. Zeus, when you think about it Johnny has acted like this he is always kind and does the right thing.
ReplyDeleteI agree with matt that they are a bit confused.
