Chapter Fifteen

How can you explain the two seemingly different ways Sean's father acted -- during the fight, and then in the cabin after the fight -- toward him?

What is your understanding of the relationship between Sean and his father?

  1. i think that sens father acted to harshly to him in the cabin and at the fight by saying he was a discrace to his reputation and his name.

  2. Wel at first he was outraged by Sean starting a fight . Then he was upset because not only did Sean show disrespct to Kilroy but disrespect to himself

  4. I think they have a good relationship but sometimes they get mad at each other and it seems like they have a bad relationship.

  6. I think some of you may need to revisit this part of the story. Don't you see a contrast between the way Sean's father acted during the fight and in the cabin afterward?

  8. So you think the way Sean's father acted during the fight was the same as the way he acted toward Sean in their cabin after the fight?

  9. no but that is not a contrast. kilroy was saying he was a discrace to there name and that he was horrible and then in the cabin he was being supportive and not harsh but was kind of saying sorry to Sean
