Toward the end of this chapter Otter grows disillusioned with Uncle Foxfire, calling him "worse than a liar."  What do you think caused Otter to have this type of reaction toward Uncle Foxfire?

  1. I think why he has this reacation is because he truly belived him and so did everyone else in the Middle Kingdom.

  2. I think that he is disillusioned at uncle foxfire becuase he is somebody GREAT in the middle kingdom but in america he is nothing but another worker so Otter thought that he lied to the people in the middle kingdom that he is like the boss there but he really isn't.

  3. Otter really believed in uncle foxfire being something very big in the middle kingdom but the truth is that he isn't anything special in america in fact all he is, is a plain old common worker same as everybody else.
