I think that otter thinks they're not as much as a hero as the said they were in the Middle Kingdom. But on the other hand he thinks they can make the outcasts from the other crews into one real crew.
ReplyDeleteI think that Otter thinks the crew is kind of mean or foolish that Otter isn't very fond of the crew.
ReplyDeleteGood points, but think about the nature of the crew and why this particular group of men is working together. Please reread if you need to.

ReplyDeleteIn chapter 11 on page 105 in the 5 paragraph when it says "Honker's a hypochondriac" what do you guys think that word means?

ReplyDeleteThe crew can get work done and still have time to fool around so they have a responsible side and a foolish side which is good at times. And i have no clue what a hypochondriac is.

ReplyDeleteI think that the crew is good at there job but it is just that the crew fools around to and like Zeus said the crew has a foolish and serious side. I am not sure what the word hypochondriac means but I will look it up in a minute.
ReplyDeleteHypochondriac in the dictionary says related to hypochondria. Hypochondria is the persistent neurotic(which relates to neurosis which is functinal disorders of the mind or emotions without obvious change), conviction that one is likely to become ill.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that everyone got the gist of my question. Who are these guys that Otter, his father, and Foxfire are working with and why are they grouped together?
ReplyDeletethe definition makes sense to me. Hypochondriac means in my own words is one is likely to become.
